This apartment is an independant rear unit with a separate rear entry.
Additional bedrooms available in our adjoining Castle Guesthouse.
About the Owner
The owner is a life long Bloomington resident and often travels the country following IU football or climbing mountains. Unless we are on a mountain top, we can usually respond pretty quickly by text or email.
A Perfect Location
We are located in the perfect location for a short term rental home with quick access to everything IU and Bloomington. We are at the edge of a residential neighborhood of primarily student rental homes . We are also uniquely situated adjacent to the Mcdonald's and across the street from the Denny's restaurant. You will never go hungry when needing that last minute meal. Our location is convenient to everything Bloomington and Monroe County . 4 lanes out of our driveway going north, south, east or west assures a quick trip to all of Bloomington , IU, Lake Monroe, and the Nashville shopping village.
I-69 is just blocks away.
Because of our close proximity to the football stadium, we also park cars in our yard for some home football games.

Our rate is $300/night ( 2 couples or a family with two adults and up to two kids), $100 cleaning fee, and a refundable $100 security deposit. All dates are currently available. We are at the edge of a residential neighborhood of primarily student rental homes . Our location is more like a typical hotel than a more residential neighborhood airbnb. We are uniquely situated adjacent to the Mcdonald's and across the street from the Denny's restaurant. So you will never go hungry when needing a last minute meal. The entire property is fenced for your privacy and security.

CALIFIN CASTLE General Policies: Our policies have been created to provide you with a pleasant stay and make you aware of some important details prior to your visit. Please read our policies prior to reserving our house. Use of the rear parking lot only for Castle Guesthouse Flat only. Booking guest must be at least 30 years old. All guests must be registered with ages listed. $200 penalty for unregistered guests that stay at or visit the house without prior approval.
RESERVATIONS We require a two (2) night minimum stay. Occasionally, last minute cancellations provide additional availabilities. Check-in 4:00 pm | Check-out 11:00am Our check-in and check-out times are strictly enforced to allow our cleaning crew and owners to clean and check the home prior to new guests/owner check-ins.
OCCUPANCY The number of Guests occupying our home is based on the number of bedrooms, sleeping accommodations and local codes. All occupancies are strictly enforced. Occupancy is limited to: families, couples, and groups of friends 30 years of age or older. Primary renter must check into the house and agree to be responsible for all members of the group and to the $200/night fee for additional guests and visitors not registered. Exceeding the stated occupancy constitutes a breach in your agreement and will be cause for immediate termination of stay without a refund. Additional per guest charges may be added .
CHECK-IN PROCEDURES Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. We have an extremely tight turnaround time frame between guests check-out and the next guests check-in. In many cases, homes require maintenance repairs, additional cleaning time, etc. Keys to your rental home will be left for you in a lockbox at the house. We will notify you 2 weeks prior to your arrival date with the location of the lockbox . Please leave the keys on the kitchen counter upon departure.
RESTRICTIONS Fireworks –fireworks of any kind including but not limited to: Roman Candles, Sparklers,Bottle Rockets,etc. including the 4th of July holiday. Firearms –Absolutely no hand guns, pistols, BB guns, etc allowed on the property at any time. Fires –only fires contained in an existing fire pit are permitted. No other type of outdoor burns or fires. Parties – each home has a maximum occupancy –no parties, gatherings or celebrations which exceed the occupancy are permitted. No exceptions. Primary reservation guest that signs the rental agreement accepts full responsibility for the safety of all of their guests they allow to use the trampoline. DEPARTURE PROCEDURES Check-out time is 11:00am. Post- inspections and cleaning occur after each departure by housekeeping staff and owners to ensure our home is clean and maintained for the next guest. Failure to comply with these departure procedures could result in an automatic $50.00 additional charge to your credit card.
Please make note: It is advisable to print the map of our location before your departure from home. Our address does not come up accurately on all GPS systems. It is easy to find if you google the Denny's restaurant on the corner of north walnut and the bypass.

KEYS: You will find a key in the lockbox on the right side of the house upon arrival. We will send you a code to unlock it . Please carry this key with you during your stay and leave it on the kitchen counter upon checkout.

NO PARTIES ALLOWED POLICY: Califin Castle is for the use of our registered guests only. We encourage our guests to host their college child at the unit during their stay. There are financial penalties for parties at the house, and for unregistered/unapproved visitors . By booking our units, our guests agree to a $100 fee for each visitor per incident. HEAT & AC: The heat is usually adjusted down when the owner is on vacation and the house is empty. feel free to adjust it to your preference and then return it to the lower setting upon checkout. Trampoline: Please use responsibly and supervise all children in the proper use of it. Guests that book with us take full responsibility for the safe use and injuries by all guests during their stay. It is a blast for kids of all ages. ENJOY!!

CHECK OUT: Please try to leave the house in as much the same condition you found it. Trash can be bagged and set in cans in the side yard, or bagged and left in the kitchen.There is a $50 additional cleaning fee for all trash left unbagged in the tall kitchen bags provided. Towels and bedsheets can be piled on the floor in the bedrooms or bathrooms. Thank you and please enjoy your stay!!
